I used to use Cape Escapes to buy a spacebank week here or there. They no longer sell spacebanks.

Does anyone know of any companies selling spacebanks. I hate buying on ebay and would prefer a company or recommendation from someone that has used someone to buy a few spacebank weeks.

Thanks

Twice I have bought spacebanked weeks from Ebay seller allen_levitt4ufb weeks were transferred directly into my account without any problems. He will several times a year list deposits on Ebay.

I'm not sure I understand what people mean by buying "spacebank weeks".

Is is possible to have a week at a resort you don't own deposited to your RCI or Interval account?

How are the sellers able to do this?

Where on Ebay do they list the spacebank weeks? I don't think I have ever seen any there.

If you are regularly paying to have weeks transferred to you, why not buy a reasonably priced resale week with decent maint fees? If "rented" weeks have sufficient trade power to get what you want, it can't be too hard to find a cheap week with enough trade power for what you're doing with them.

Buying spacebanked weeks was the greatest thing since sliced bread until RCI pulled the plug on it. At least a third of my lifetime 80+ trades have been with banked weeks purchased from Cape. No long term commitment, no risk of special assessments; just good trading weeks at a price far less than most US main. fees. It was such a great system that I sold off almost all my owned weeks and so am now working on plan "B" and may be forced to rent in the future. RCI has fewer and fewer good choices to exchange into, and I don't want to buy as many weeks as we use annually(12 to 15). Sigh...nothing stays the same; including my hairline and belt size.
