Anyone have any luck in getting a 1-BR unit at Nanea?

Just like last year, I'm having such difficulty getting a reservation for next summer at Nanea. I believe the resort is completely done.

Anyone have any pointers in getting a reservation? Getting quite frustrated!

Very difficult unless you have "Nanea" Resort View Home Options. Although you can usually rent though SPG website.

Also looking at availability for mid week with varying lengths might be available and you may be able to cobble together a couple of res. Arriving mid week is cheaper on AL fares.

When you say, "Nanea Resort View Home Options", do you mean what do we own?

I checked and we own a "Resort View, Floating" at Nanea. We have 81K StarOptions

As reported, the issue is because they can really oversell the 1BR units and everyone who buys enough Home Options for a 2BR can also book the 1BR units. The only people at Nanea that can't book the 1BR are the OF owners. They only created two plans at Nanea, Ocean Front and Resort View. Bad decision by Vistana.

This really sucks. We bought the 81 options for the 1-bedroom but decided to get a 2-BR to take our kids with us this year.

However, most of the time we will want to book the 1-bedroom. Was hoping once the building phase was over space would open up. So far, I haven't seen too many 1-bedrooms available at all.

While I think it's fine for people who bought more options at Nanea to book up the 1-bedroom units, I think they should give the people who only bought 81K home options first dibs at the 12-month point. Like a week before the others can book. That will never happen.

I know I can always can stay at the WKORN units next door. But I would like to stay at Nanea.

I read above that you are trying to book 12 months out. Are you trying at 12:00 midnight or when the units first come available? This might depend on your time zone. I have not tried done myself. Good luck!

Correct. That will never happen. It's actually the main selling point. Flexibility.
