Anyone have a recent (or at least 2024) sales offer for a regular Wyndham points ownership?

noone? the most recent one i coudl find was from 2018 and quotes 53,000 for 200k points. (.26/point)

i believe there are other recent quotes for prices in the .27/point range? that still the case?

I've had several quotes over the past year or so, but we don't capture that data when we attend updates these days unfortunately - I will make a mental note to do so moving forward. They start out with MSRP pricing (the puke price), then typically offer a discounted CWA price in the $170-175/1000 range. I haven't called into telesales in years though - and typically telesales offers the best per 1000 pricing for CWA. Lemme see if I can find a picture - but it's likely going to be more than a year old if I can even find one.

Here's one from Mar 2021 - CWA at the Poconos resort - 200k points with 300k bonus points - $187/1000 - MSRP at that time was $265/1000 as indicated in the graphic below:

Here's one from 5/25/2021 when we were at TOTG (Towers on the Grove - North Myrtle Beach). CWA again for 154k points with 246k bonus points - $190/1000 with MSRP at $265/1000 as indicated on the sheet:

Those prices are crazy. What we have would be worth so much money, if only someone would pay me for it. But status doesn't transfer, supposedly. I did give away some points that did transfer with status. Don't know how that happened, since those were resale when I bought them and showed as resale in my account after the resale devaluation of about 4 years ago. I did the closings myself, status of Bronze for at least two of the new owners. The others haven't said anything, and there were some big ones.

I wonder if some quirk of how you did the closing caused the status to transfer.

Or incompetence of the person doing the transfer on the Wyndham side. I suspect there is some kind of flag that they mark or unmark when doing a transfer to indicate that benefits of direct purchase transfer. They would need to have something to support transfers to direct family members.

I've heard rumors that certain contract numbers seem to end up as developer transfers by default for some reason - like 0008 or something - I'd have to go back and search for this info - but IIRC this may still be an issue.
