Anyone had RCI change dates on Ongoing Search?

This is our fault for not noticing change on email. We put in a search back in September of 2015 and had it set for a week before or after what we already had booked for May of 2016. In December we received a call from RCI wanting us to deposit some of our other timeshares and I mentioned how we hadn't any luck with what we already had in. She looked at it and mentioned another resort in the same area and asked if she could add it to the search. I thanked her and said great if it opens more chances up to us.
Well, yesterday I printed out our request and we realized the dates were changed by RCI on the two places by 2 days. We are weeks and this changed from a Saturday start to a Monday start. Impossible because according to the RCI book the weeks exchange only start on FRi,Sat, or Sunday. This means they couldn't have matched anything even if something opened up. We've now lost 2 months of the ability to get what we asked for.
Lesson learned: Read every word of what RCI sends to us.

If you read the fine print in the updates that you get from RCI, they say, "we may expand the dates of your request," so yes, before you confirm, you have to be sure everything is exactly what you want.

Do you have your Acct. set up for Auto-confirm, or set up so you actually have to go online and accept?
