I got a call this morning from a woman representing "Sheraton Timeshares". She said that Sheraton was offering a special deal for SBP owners and all I had to do was travel to Orlando in the next 6 months.
I said - who are you again? Sheraton Timeshares
I said - you mean Starwood? Yes, but we usually just call ourselves Sheraton because most people don't recognize the Starwood name.
I said - and why are you calling me? Because our records show that you purchased at SBP in 2001 and so as an SBP owner you qualify for this special deal.
I said - wrong. I did not purchase in 2001. Oh well, don't understand that problem, but can you come to Orlando in the next 6 months? No. In the next 12 months? No, thank you and good-bye.
Any ideas? I did not bother to find out where in Orlando I was expected to go and why they asked for me when DH is first on the SBP deed.
