Just stopped by one of their resorts on Kauai. Looks nice and they are selling weeks from their foreclosure inventory. Somewhat tempted but never heard of them.

Thanks for any info.

I own at Grand Pacific week at Coronado Beach Resort. Great resorts, especially if you live on the west coast. Each one varies regarding fixed vs float weeks, room assignments, etc. A lot of times their foreclosure week prices are still a lot higher than you would pay resale from an owner.

I own at Grand Pacific Palisades I’m Carlsbad fixed summer week. Love it! However I do agree that it’s best to buy resale. More traditional timeshare. No points and less flexibility then some other programs.

I also own Grand Pacific Resort with a summer week at Grand Pacific Palisades. Very satisfied with the management and upkeep of the resort. I have HGVC options but haven't used them yet because the kids are still young enough that Palisades has been a perfect family summer vacation so far.

My parents own a 1BR/2BA week at Hanalei Bay Resort on Kauai. I understand it is a part of Grand Pacific Resorts. Is there any resale market for this resort?

North Shore of Kuaui does not have the high demand like oceanfront Maui or Waikiki so you will probably have to gift this one away and pay the closing fees.
