Trying to figure out what the room types mean in gulf coast affiliates like charter club mean.

e.g.
what is the difference between a 2BR CN-2 and a CN -4?

I spoke to a VC and they indicated that SW FL resorts get added to inventory by individual room number. It is the only way for them to keep the units and blocks of inventory straight. That is why sometimes you see a whole bunch of rooms types and sometimes you seen 1. If the room type has no inventory it just displays a single room type.

I have seen behavior like this, but I can't really verify what I was told.

Bay Club has a number as part of the room type, but that situation actually indicates a check in day and not a unit number, which is why I was skeptical of this explanation. But that is all I have and can't prove any of it. LOL

Craigendarroch Lodges are also done that way. Florida Gulf resort inventory would have to be loaded that way if you think about it. Basically, they are all fixed weeks, where the week owners have to cancel their week.
