Anyone ever sold/transferred RCI 'Weeks' points?

I have over 1500 'Weeks' points (or Weeks type trading values) banked and after giving some to my kids etc., I still won't be able to use them all before I die. Has anyone ever sold these? I'm open to selling them at way less than I paid for them if that's possible. Basically, you can buy extra vacation weeks for less than your normal yearly maint fee.

So...? What & Where were these points attached to originally?

I am interested to learn more and would like to understand what exactly each week represents in RCI, as points, and how they can be transferred over & ultimately used with RCI as a purchaser.

Thanks for any more info you can share about the original source they were connected to.
