Anyone else going to be watching Survivor Season 40!!

I watched Survivor for several seasons and then dropped it for a few years, I recently started watching it again because my teens were interested. Not sure how I feel about “fire tokens” - sounds a little convoluted. Anyone else watching?

All of the contestants are past winners. It should be interesting. Some of them I had completely forgotten.

Someone we know was on this season, so I watched it. It was fun knowing someone who was competing there. Survivor makes Jeopardy look like a walk in the park!

Jason, an attorney from New York. He’s the son of good friends (who we’ve known since he was born) so it was fun watching him on the show. Man, is that show cutthroat!

That’s kind of the whole point, and why it’s “Survivor.” Surviving getting screwed over by your friends, then having to vote for them to win, over your other friend who also screwed you over. Cutthroat is just the start of it.

it is a fascinating dynamic for sure....im not sure any player has ever successfully gotten to the end without lying or backstabbing SOMEONE. those that try that super nice game always end up having their throats cut for "being liked by everyone" which is why its always amusing when folks take it personally when it happens to them.

I've watched every episode. Saw a quick sound bite with a woman who remarried and had three kids since her last go-round; can't say that I recognized her. But I have that issue any time they bring previous players back unless it is someone really memorable like Ozzie or Rupert.

British Cop shows on Acorn TV, Price is Right, Law and Order (various versions) reruns, College Sports, Peoples Court, Masterpiece Theater, any Ken Burns production, Amazing Race, Jack Ryan on Amazon, Jeopardy, various Sunday News shows like Meet the Press.

Like I said, to each their own.
