What I would suggest is to get an estoppel from the resort. Also, make sure you have good knowledge about the resort you are looking to acquire, so you know exactly what you will be purchasing. You don’t want any surprises to pop up after the deed is signed.
Remembered, they called the filled-in form an “estoppel.” :ponder::ponder:

They have a lot of Grandview listings and some of them seem “off” I’m sure it’s fine. Maybe they are new or are part of the st Louis company being charged with fraud

I asked questions on them on a couple of the Grandview listings that had odd sounding point amounts. The response I received was "We're not RCI, we don't control the points." I didn't pursue further after that.

Hi Synergy, that was my post about my experience with Resort Transfer Group / Resort Sales. I am happy with my purchase and I’ve already made my reservation for this summer.
I’m on my third purchase with them & all are transferred or transferring smoothly. Faster than some sellers while slower than others.
I’m happy with my purchases also!

Waiting on closing of a recent transaction. So far, zero issues.

They are an affiliate of Square one

And as previously posted here, the original owners of Square One were a husband and wife. About the time the husband was arrested for child porn he was removed as one of the officers/owners leaving just the wife. All this is public information. Some people may not want to do business with people like that.

They sold a week with approx 122K points yet according to a RCI chart, that week is 98K. Also pulled some listings because un paid maint fees or possibly other mis information.

Just wanted to say that I haven't heard anything from these guys in awhile. I emailed asking for an update a few weeks ago, got no response. Just tried again, we shall see...

I am in the process with them for a Westin Lagunamar week since last month. Based on my past experiences, it has to go through Chicago Title which takes a long time (5-6 mos) but however they claims their closing dept can do it internally. Just received an email that they will send the transfer request to the resort for approval. Will keep you guys posted.

How did they know where to send the letters? I'm assuming TUG wouldn't give out a user's personal information, right?
The two tuggers had unsuccessful TS transactions with the vendor

Could be another eBay ID for this seller with a similar name:

https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=resortsales1&ftab=AllFeedback

I bought from them in August, still not transferred, and no real progress.
Can I ask if you have an update on this transaction? I’m about to make a payment to them and I definitely have my reservations based upon some of these Tug feeds. I don’t mind waiting as long as it goes through - and in time for me to use it in the fall.

I found that a lot of their eBay auctions don’t actually match. For example they gave information about XXX amount of points for a Grandview unit but if you look at the RCI chart the week listed is actually a lower week unit. So is it really a one bedroom or is the correct bedroom a 2 bedroom meaning a high MF for the lowest amount of points? I’ve seen way too many inconsistencies with their listings. @Synergy may be able to answer some questions.

Thank you. I’m being very cautious because I’m inexperienced. I purchased my first TS resale after reading here for months, so a big thank you to all of you. I bought a 2bd annual platinum at MGV in October for $2500 plus closing costs. Haven’t gotten to use it yet but came upon another one on eBay. $500 with closing costs and transfer fee paid by the seller. I’ve reviewed the usage estoppel and the finance estoppel. I’ve checked the county clerk records online and the owner names match, unit, floating week all check out. I’m feeling confident that I’ve done my due diligence still nervous because of my inexperience and because of the warnings by some of you much more experienced owners. Is there something else I should be doing?

I am currently working on a timeshare transaction with them and will let everyone know how it turns out. One of their agents named Amy from Square One contacted me today and provided information that looks like everything is moving toward a completion. Yahoo!

I was the high bidder on an Ebay auction for a Marriott Monarch week 31. The auction ended on January 24 and as best I can tell nothing has happened. Luckily I paid for it with a credit card and am about to pull the plug. I also bought an Eagle Point (Vail) from them and that one finally got done after a few months after many calls and emails with them. I got a good deal on both timeshares but it's not worth the hassle, delays, and risk. I've bought a couple more timeshares after the Monarch one that have long since been transferred. I don't think these people are crooks but it's frustrating dealing with people who don't have their act together.

Not the first person I’ve heard of this happening to. One tugger has been waiting months and nothing. I’d stay away, pull the plug if you can.

^^ I'm that member. I was given some early signs of hope and then nothing since then. I had almost nothing invested in the sale, but still, I'd hoped to end up with the ownerships. Supposedly it was all submitted to the two respective resorts quite awhile ago, but I don't have any reason to believe that. I'm content if somehow something shows up in the future, and I'm also (mostly) alright if they stole a few bucks from me. If yours is more than a few bucks, I'd get the chargeback handled asap.

I didn’t want to put your name out there. But yeah they are terrible that group. I see they relisted the week 44 Grandview I’m guessing the deal fell through last week and it went for less than last auction haha.
