Has anyone bought a timeshare through Doug Crowley of SellMyTimeShareNow and timesharebrokerservices?

We are closing in on the purchase of a timeshare, but have read lots of scary stories about doing this through brokers so want to be hear from others who have used his services.

Please PM me if you'd rather not be public about your experiences.

We here at TUG are very against paying an upfront fee for the (supposed) marketing of timeshares. However, it sounds like you are the buyer in this case, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Be sure all funds go through escrow and not directly to the seller.

Make sure you have working contact numbers for the seller and closing/escrow company.

Talk to the closing company on the phone and make sure you understand exactly what the closing procedure and time line are - write it down or ask them to email it to you.

Read all documents very carefully - ask about anything you don't understand.

Any changes/corrections must be in the contract, do not accept any verbal corrections.

Document all contact you have with them, keep copies of everything.

Good luck!
