Any Westgate resale owners at Westgate Smoky Mountains?

First off we go to Pigeon Forge yearly so we would be using and not exchanging as we two other timeshares we use for that. The owners of this unit are retail owners.
Do you keep the benefit of free usage of the indoor water park if you are a resale owner?

Are there any additional fees if you just use your home base?

Can you give a lock off to a friend or family if you don’t need it or are they cracking down on guest. ( I understand they are cracking down on people who own a bunch of units and rent then out all the time.)

I understand its wastegate but we enjoy this resort. Would love to get Wyndham Smokey Mountain but they are hard to come by.

I wouldn't say that. They frequently appear on ebay, monitor ebay for a bit and you should be able to get what you want.

My understanding is the lock off fee is much higher if you are a resale owner. The fee to use Westgates internal exchange is much higher for resale owners. The third one which I am not sure if it effects all resale owners or just ones or just some or if it really isn't a problem for any resale owners there. The season is a 1-52 float but westgate seems to restrict some resale owners from only being able to reserve their week 4 months or 60 days out, meaning that if you are a resale owner and have that restriction you won't be able to reserve prime weeks because they won't still be available when you book. There also doesn't seem to be a way to determine ahead of the sale if the restriction will apply to you or not so it's one of those - Do you feel lucky - or do you not care if you can't get summer or prime fall.

I haven't heard of any restrictions in terms of water park access.
