Any way to modify / Cancel a reservation inside of 30 days?

We have 4 reservations that we are about to lose.

We have had a family trip scheduled for 9 months and we just ended up with 2 separate medical issues that will effect most fo the family that was going.

The Units are over New Years Eve in Hilton Head and there is no availability there.

Very good likelihood HGVC would be able to rent these out or book them.

It appears they have closed the loophole on moving the reservations because I am inside of 60 days.

Any suggestions?

Call CS and tell them it is a medical issue and they may make a "one time" exception to cancel it without losing your points.

I was thinking that - It is actually true but with 4 separate bookings I think I will be out of luck

Doesn't hurt to try though. Just plead your case. I beat they will work with you

I agree to call; sometimes they are remarkably flexible. And in the future, you may consider the point protection insurance when you make reservations. It is not that expensive in the grand scheme of things.
