Not if you rented out your week 33 and then located your week 29 or 30, and DIY. It's referred to as eliminating the middle man. ;)

We own week 45 at the RH. In order to exchange you have 4 choices
1. A direct exchange with another owner. Your week for theirs- no fee incurred.
2. Through the RR internal exchange and there is a fee.
3. Through II if you are a member. There is a fee
4. Through RCI if you are a member. There is a fee.

I like Phydeaux's option 5. Rent out your week, find the week you want and rent from an owner. No fee, just a little leap of faith.:)

For exchanges entered via the website (www.intervalservicing.com) the fee is $149 US Dollars. Once an exchange is confirmed the fee is non-refundable. NOTE: The current exchange fee is $179.00 U.S. Dollars if received by fax or mail.

and yes it is RTU

Hello I have another question if someone can help me, do royal haciendas have a special assessment like mayan palace or grand mayan timeshare? There I have to pay 1 maintenance fee every 5 years. Thanks for your answers

The yearly MF is about $1,100 and it goes up about 3% per year on avg. There's never been an additional special assessment at the MX Royals that I know of. Not even after hurricane Wilma. Probably possible, but none so far.
