So I've got a friend who's using my SFX guest cert for a Vidanta RM location stay in November.

She mentioned:
" I have been seeing Videos from Vidanta on Instagram of new procedures and such. When you arrive they take your temp. So what happens if you have a fever? Do they not let you stay? And I saw that they take your temp to get into Jungala as well. "

I don't have anything in writing, but I was wondering if anyone knew about the temperature scans?

Is it like some airlines where if you have a temperature they then give you a COVID test and you are isolated for the X hours until the test results come back?

Here is info on the Vidanta Website.

I know that Buganvilias is doing temp scans, there is a special mat when you go in and that you have to download the menus to order your food.

Thanks Phyllis! I'll probably have to call them and inquire as I didn't see anything about the "what happens if you have a fever" scenario.

I am currently here at Vidanta in NV. The only temp scans they have done is when we got off the plane at customs, when we arrived at the resort and then every time we have entered the Plaza to go eat at Taco Break. Otherwise they have hand sanitizers set up everywhere along with mats that supposedly clean off the bottom of your shoes.. A few towers closed and they are closing tower 3 GL next week. We are in the GL residence and its only half full.

We were just in Mexico. I have yet to figure out how the mats are supposed to mitigate and eliminate the spread of COVID.
