If I used my RCI to get a DVC. Do I get any perks of a DVC member? Just wondering. Thank you.

No DVC perks, just the normal perks of staying at a Disney resort. Add to this that SSR is a deluxe resort, so you get extended evening hours.

But free parking comes simply with it being a DVC stay, nothing to do with being a member. Non members exchanging in also get free parking.

Because DVC members pay for parking in our maintenance fees.

DVC members just don't pay for their exchange fee when trading out, exchangers pay that for them when trading in.

It could also be said that the DVC members just pay for the upkeep of the parking lots, not necessarily the same amount as the parking fee that non DVC guests pay when staying at the property.

Guests staying in DVC resorts on cash are charged $25/night for resort parking. Inbound exchangers are not, but it can be a point of confusion for newbies.
