There is a long history of many many companies that charge an upfront fee (sometimes small sometimes large) for disposing of your timeshare. The common thread to all of their business models - what incentive do they have to perform after they have your money? Do yourself a favour, if you want to sell your timeshare than list it on eBay and be rid of it.

Do you have it listed there for a realistic price? Many people when trying to sell live in a dream world and list their timeshares for close to purchase price. Look at completed auctions on eBay to see what value your particular ts currently has.

If it is not getting bids for $1, than you may want to explore how to get the best use of your timeshare.
