How do you do credit check on potential renter of a house?

Since you wouldn't likely want to subscribe to a commercial license to get the information you would have to ask the potential renter to provide their own report which they can get on-line at a cost of $24 at Equifax.ca

I've been using www.mrlandlord.com for several years.

$9.95 for a credit check from Experian.

Not sure if it will help in Canada though.
