Is there anyway to use or gift small amounts of expiring StarOptions (less than a few thousand)?

Thanks! Effectively another fee when you can't use all your points.

IMO, I think you need to plan ahead and bank the remaining points to be used in the future. In my case, when I make last minutes changes is when I am in risk of leaving points on the table. I try to plan as far ahead (resort, plane, etc.) as possible.

Next year the annual membership fees will include banking un-used options without an additional separate charge, so this situation should be mostly taken care of. But you will need to make sure to get it done by the annual deadline to bank options.

We had about 250 remaining StarOptions in 2022, it wouldn’t have made sense to bank them as their utility wasn’t worth the banking fee. It may make sense in the future when the new Abound Club Fee includes banking fees.

I did bank just a few hundred 2023 SOs since it was now free with becoming 5* (from 3*) prior to Abound release. Now I expect to be free at Chairman level if I understand correctly.

It should now be free for everyone given the new consolidated Abound Club Fee but I am past the banking deadline for me to bank any options.
