Any good/successful eBay stories out there??!!

Thanks for the advice, after digging I found out some no so nice things. Excessively long transfers and a bunch of other stuff from this inventory from texas. I cancelled my bin and after some research I was able to get exactly what we wanted at bonner creek with sumday vacations directly from their website- with negotiations. I may have over paid compared to ebay at .98/1000 but it fits our needs perfectly.

Not arguing and your suggestions are very good ones, but I'm curious how / why any or all of the (only six) sales "look like they could be timeshares".:shrug::confused:

I have the same question. One of them looks possibly like a timeshare, "Very happy!....(waiting appx is 3 + months for final transfer as usual)" the others could be anything.

Marriott transfer today completed on my ebay purchases of two separate weeks from j_worl4. I was expecting the worst when I saw that title company was VP Title. However, they were a great deal, so I did not back out. Marriott did not exercise ROFR, and I had recorded deeds within 2 weeks. Marriott transfer took 5 weeks after that.

Communication was very prompt...I got the transfer emails from Marriott and then email from VP Title within an hour both times.

I am VERY pleasantly surprised.

I just wanted to add to this thread as I was a recent VICTIM of BCSRENTALS on EBAY. In November I was the successful for "Marriott Barony Beach Annual 2br Platinum Hilton Head South Carolina Timeshare." I had to pay within three day the full amount. After 40 days of not hearing anything I posting a neutral review on ebay stating the following. "It has been 40 days, no update yet on RORF from seller.I'm concerned" Seller posted "Deed sent to recording, buyer updated" I received an email on 1/22/2016 that they were unable to sell this timeshare unit to me because their seller backed out. This email came only after i insisted on hard factual information and threaten to notify ebay and i was retracting my fund from American Express. Today i file a request for fund to be returned from American Express. They also blocked me from any further purchases and when I called them on it they denied it. I am not sure who these people are or person is, and why they are doing this. They had my money ( over $6000) for over 60 days. I really don't think they have any timeshares to sell. ....my new follow-up today 1/24/2016 on ebay
"seller cancelled sale, unable to sell/close. contact me, kmbcollect for details." I hope this helps all who might be bidding on their auctions. Still looking for the above timeshare if you are selling or or at Grand Ocean. Thanks
Just checked on ebay.... they have no timeshares up for sale....

Did you ACTUALLY get your money back yet? There are several threads about this shady group.

I reported it to AMERICAN EXPRESS and have received a credit from Amex today. BUt it does go through a process with American Express but i provided all my documentation that indicated they were refunding the money. I wasn't going to wait for BCSRENTALS to process the refund. American Express will dispute it with them. I will update as soon as it become official from American Express. This was the only way I was going to pay them .... knowing I can request a refund.

Good thinking, Amex is usually pretty consumer friendly.
