We have owned our [timeshare] for awhile, and have always been able to rent out our lockoff. This year we are having no success in renting it out for [specific info. removed], so we are thinking of depositing it with II.

First, do you think this is the right thing to do?
Second, in the past, I recall II having a two-for-one special (two years for the price of one). Does anybody have any info on that - a special source code? Or is $84 for a year the best deal?
Thanks in advance.

I signed up for five years for the price of four under current pricing. Prices go up next week by about $5 per year.

Just remember that you can always cancel your membership and get your money back (unless of course they are bankrupt and then your money is in line with others).

The II membership specials (2 years for one) that I have seen in the past have always been tied to specific resorts or resort groups. Call II and ask if yours qualifies for any specials.

It's getting a little late to deposit a [specific info. removed] spring week with II. You might not be given great trading power. But once you join, you can search online to get an idea of what your deposit might pull. Then, if you're satisfied with what you see, you can deposit. If you put in an ongoing search with II, you can increase your chances of getting a trade that you want.
