Hello
Been off TUG for a while. I have reserved [a Sheraton week]. I can't make it this year. Sheraton wants me to Deposit it with II.
Any advice on Selling that week, where to advertise beside Craigs list.
Thanks
Phil

When you say "selling that week" do you mean you want to rent it out?

There are lots of places to rent a week. You can place an ad on several websites including here on TUG ( free for TUG members) on Redweek, my resortnetwork, TS4Ms & ebay.

Good luck

Resorts Owned
WKORV, WKV, 2-SDO, 4-Kauai Beach Villas, Island Park Village (Yellowstone), Hyatt High Sierra, Dolphin's Cove (Anaheim)
SDO is not a hot renter - I get $700 or $800 for the right week - like March (Spring Training) or Easter.

You should consider depositing it with II - Starwood resorts have a 3 day priority for all other Starwood resorts on II and you could exchange into one of the top Starwood resorts with your little SDO week. Recently, Starwood owners have exchanged into Hawaii and the new Cancun resort this way. See the II article in the Owner Resources sticky for more info.

*I am moving your post to the Starwood board.

Try www.redweek.com / TUG which has worked for me. I also send out mass emails to friends and family. They usually are the first to grab them.

Why not deposit it with II for a future exchange? I just traded my 1 bdrm SDO (non-SVN) for a 2 bdrm at Aviara. For me it is too big a hassle to try to rent it. I'd much rather get a great exchange.
