SVN could learn from this HOA though. If my calculations are correct, and a 1/12 fractional ownership converts to 4 weeks, (don't know what happens to the missing 4 weeks in the year) then annual fees are $1188/week. Wonder why they can control mf and most HOA's within SVN can't?

Great question. I've seen other fractionals with less MF/week than the SVN weeks. For instance, I recall the Marriott Grand Residences in Lake Tahoe being significantly less per week than even their own Marriott Grand Timber Lodge next door. Of course, most of those fractionals have a much higher initial purchase price.
