Another long time Tugger is gone (Kathy Q)

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting. Kathy Q passed away on Fri after a short illness. Kathy was one of the sweetest, kindest person I have ever known. She loved to travel and being a travel agent. I had been on many trips with her and will miss her dearly. She didn't post much on TUG over the last few years since she had gotten rid of her timeshares. She was the driving force behind the TUG cruises and did a great job with them. RIP Kathy.

Never having gone on a TUG cruise, I never had the pleasure of meeting Kathy, but her contributions to our strange little community were significant. RIP, Kathy, you will be remembered.

TUG is ancient by internet standards, and we've been around long enough that I guess it's inevitable that we'd start losing people to time, but that doesn't make it any easier to take.

Here's to all the TUGgers, present and past, who have been willing to share of their time, effort, and knowledge to make TUG the special oasis in the interwebs that it has been for decades.

I never met her personally but remember her posts about cruising and the many positive comments from Tuggers about help she provided.

Oh my, I spoke to her last week, and she said she was doing OK. I knew things were not great, but she she was doing no worse, so she must have taken a quick down turn.

She has keep me in an email loop on all of the trips that are under booking. So I will go back and see where all of those stand.

I am greatly sadden. She was a great lady.

Kathy worked for me, I too just spoke to her on Monday. She was emailing me copies of all of the items she worked on on Wednesday.

I will be reviewing all of the existing bookings, and will ensure that things are handled.
