“American Airlines is ramping up its service to the island of Saint Lucia this summer.

The carrier will be resuming its second daily nonstop flight from Miami to Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport this summer, with service set to resume on June 6.

The flight will join the existing year-round flight from Miami to Saint Lucia that departs daily at 11:13 AM.

The second flight, which will depart at 8:45 AM, will give travelers a full afternoon to enjoy on their first day on the island....”

Good news. I just exchange in for the fall thru II to Windjammer
 
Curious, We have been to St. Lucia to a Sandals and hope to return to St. Lucia someday. Being from the frozen land north of the USA, we go to get away from the cold season, winter. And the temps are great. So what is the attraction traveling to the Caribbean during the summer, assuming the heat and humidity are high?
 
Usually during off-season and hurricane season the prices for airfare and lodging go down quite a bit.

And I think maybe with the school breaks out the St Lucian families have a chance to visit relatives back in the states.
 
Less crowds! I live in sunny SoCal and would never visit the Caribbean in January through March. I don't seek the warmth I seek the crystal clear blue waters when the snowbirds are gone.
 
I live in TX it is hot and humid here anyway, might as well have beautiful water and less crowded beaches and resorts. Works for me.
 
I heard Rodney Bay is a fun place to be. Is Windjammer anywhere near there? Where can I find All Inclusive fees?
