I have a week at a 3 bedroom Marriott Crystal shores reservation August 1. It was going to be a family trip . My daughter with two kids under 3 is afraid to fly with the virus going on. The flight was booked on AA on Nov 25. It was an economy flight. Trying to figure out what are options are for a refund. The return flight time was changed on the flight. Somebody thought since the time was changed that we would be entitled to a cash refund. Originally I thought we would need to pay a 200 cancellation fee and only have to Nov 25 to rebook another flight. It just seems a lot is changing with flight cancellations. Any help would be appreciated.

If your flight time was changed you can get a refund. Just did that today with Alaska Airlines. We were supposed to go to Seattle the end of May. We knew we weren't going to go, but I was waiting to cancel the flights. Today I went in and noticed the times had changed. I called and was offered a flight credit, but said I wanted a refund since the times had changed, one flight by 2 hours and the other by 4 hours. Rep said fine and processed the entire cancellation. She said I will see the refund in 7 to 10 business days.

It depends on how many minutes/hours you flight was changed. I believe 61 minutes and you can get a cash refund. Check AA website for the exact time frame. From the AA site " If you Bought your ticket before April 7, 2020, for travel through September 30, 2020, you can rebook without change fees through December 31, 2021."
