I showed this to DW. She said that to her, the Echo had disappeared. I don't give it a thought either. It sure isn't a design feature. {shrug}

OK, it would be, disappeared as in "seamlessly blended in". I am fully convinced that people don't see their own clutter. And that's the level my Echo has achieved. Clutter. Like the layer of dust on horizontal surfaces. You (or more accurately, I) don't see it unless some inconsiderate slob drags a finger through it.
