We received our confirmation today for our stay start 11-09-24. When I picked up this ownership it came with a couple carryover weeks. I used two weeks and the current week would roll forward. I didn't realize I still had a rollover from 2022 that they still had in my account. Because it was during COVID they are still allowing me to use it. So we decided to use it and take a staycation on the West side of the island.

My 2024 week will roll into 2025 so I will have two weeks next year which will work out great since our daughter will visit and so will friend that we travel with often.

Here is the owners letter they send out along with the conformation when you make a reservation.

That is great that you can do a staycation on Molokai. The plane costs for flying in and out of Molokai make it quite a savings for you to Staycation on Molokai rather than one of the other Hawaiian Islands.

Yes, exactly. It's about $75 more to fly Mokulele than other airlines. We have owned here for a few year now but this is the first time we decided to take advantage of ot ourselves.

We have friends coming and our daughter will be staying there in 2025. It's worked out well for us so far.

So what do you plan to do differently during your staycation?

We've been there with others staying a few times already but this will be our stay.

Ke Nani Kai is a little strange because the one and two bedroom units have the same maintenance fee. I waited quite a while but never found a two bedroom available so I picked up a one bedroom for free but we can book a two bedroom at no extra cost based on availability. So we're staying in a two bedroom.

When we made the reservation for ourselves, Sue, who makes all the reservations, was so excited we were staying there ourselves that she said she would give us the best unit. I don't know what that is but we'll see. Lol

They have a hot tub there. We don't have one at home so my wife is looking forward to that. They have some nice walking paths around there too so we are going to enjoy that also. Then we are going to have a few beach days. The bigger sandy beaches are on that side of the island so we'll do a few picnics.šŸ¤™šŸ»
We are adventurous. šŸ¤£
