I managed to get the following done in a long call with HGVC, I have to give kudos to the agent, they were on the ball. Boy the VC at Hilton are top notch.
1) Pay Bay Club MFs for 2009
2) Move 2009 Bay Club Points into my Seaworld Elite account
3) Cancel 2 reservations using 2009 points
4) Deposit my 2009 Points into 2010
5) Rebook 1 of the reservation using my remaining rescued 2008 points (done on a previously) and borrowed my just deposited 2009 into 2010 points.
Boy I have to hand it to the VC, they understood exactly what I was doing, and why. I ususally have to explain my logic to some VCs and still they don't get why I would want to do it that way. Not Hilton, very excellent service.
Now, If I happen to cancel my existing reservation that is booked, I will end up still having some rescued points to use in 2009, but the remaining points go back into 2010.
I am now sitting with 17,490 in 2010 and I still have added my 7000 2010 Bay Club points to that. So I have 24,490 points for 2010. I should plan something BIG!!
Hoping that 2010 is looking better than 2009.
Happy New Year.
