I have not received alerts for overlapping reservations or points about to expire. I did have a reservation cancelled that was overlapping (and would have appreciated the alert).

Anyone notice when they went missing (assuming they are gone for all of us)?

What kind of alert? Email? I have received 'Change check-in name within 48 hours' warning when I have made duplicate reservations. Did they send email reminders in the past?

Yes. We used to get an alert in the little bell symbol in the upper right corner. It would tell which were the offending reservations. Very nice feature, now gone (probably in one of those updates to our on-line experience).

Not sure when it met its demise. I had several months last year when I had no points.

Dupe -- had a delayed posting of the first one.

Unbelievable! These things cost Wyndham nothing! It would be part and parcel of a well-designed dashboard! Not one with pretty pictures lacking in functionality!
I can't believe they spent millions on this One-Trick-Pony called Voyager! One medium-to-complex(if dealing with ARP or RARP) update transaction to make reservations and other poorly executed SIMPLE update transactions like Autopay (where you can't even see your current settings), payment, RCI and PDF deposits. And a whole bunch of SIMPLE inquiry transactions which are so poorly conceived!

Function Point Analysis was pioneered by an IT guy from NZ in the '80s and it's a method to quantify a system in objective terms. Lines of code is not a good measure.FPA is a better way to estimate an IT project. I used to teach this back in those days to gin up some extra revenue for my then employer. I had a memorable time teaching FPA at NAVCOMPTSSA Pensacola in 1984. What a beautiful white sand beach!

Hmm. I don't think the bell symbol itself has gone missing recently
from the myclubwynhdam.com GUI.

Perhaps Sandi is referring to Emailed alerts?

I checked a handful of old screenshots, and the bell symbol was visible on
all of 01/22/20,01/17,01/10,11/03/19,10/13,9/8, and 8/16.

Maybe the underlying alert mechanism has been being tweaked (or broken)
on some software release rollouts?

Also, FWIW, I have gotten the following boilerplate(?) as part of an Emailed
confirmation notice as recently as Jan 30:

Please Note:
For multiple units
with overlapping dates,
a guest name must be
added within 48 hours to
avoid cancellation.

The bell symbol is still there, but it has been "dead". Previously, when you had a message, or 2 or 3, etc, there was "count" number displayed in the middle of the bell.

Yes, that is what I'm talking about. The bell is there, but isn't functioning. They will still cancel an overlapping reservation, btw. The bell would have a number by it indicating how many alerts you had, you'd also have a message when you logged in (directing you to your alerts).

I've had overlapping reservations and expiring points, and the alerts don't work. Dumb bell.

Dumb Bells! How did something that builds your strength also come to mean 'stupid'?
