Alaska Airlines eliminates change fees

“Alaska Airlines is the latest U.S. carrier to eliminate change fees long-term.

But unlike competitors United, Delta and American, Alaska is getting rid of its $125 fee for all international flights as well as on its domestic network.

As with those carriers, however, the fee will still apply to Alaska’s basic economy product, which Alaska calls Saver fares....”

It was only a matter of time. Its a copycat business. I wondered if they might bring back the credits when a fare decreases to further differentiate themselves from the big boys. One can dream.
