Airfares for Cancun next 2 month forecast

Hey Tuggers,

Going to Cancun in May and currently seeing 1 stop fares at around $400. I am wondering if I should take the plunge or if the forecast is that fares will drop slightly going into the Spring.

Any and all advice welcomed.

Have you checked USA3000? Don't know your dates but they have some great fares. I did check around Easter and they look booked but do check them out. We are flying out of St Louis with them for Easter week. Have heard good reports about the airline.

Thanks, I already have checked them and they weren't much better than I have seen on American for our mid may flight. I have ongoing searches going on a couple sights and will keep looking in March. I hope to see the fares drop slightly for the Spring, but may not be that lucky.

We just booked out flight through NWA. We are flying out of Mitchell field, love the smaller airports, but have to go North to get to Cancun. NWA hub is MPLS and we are stopping there coming and going. We did a 1 hopper last year going down and direct coming back on American. The cost was about 200 cheaper last year. Airfares really have jumped with the oil prices soaring.
