We may go to Cabo in June-1st time during that time of year. Looking at tickets
From SF Bay area running about $450 RT. Is this usual? We went 1st week of Jan. I got tickets 6 mos ahead-then there were tickets $150 cheaper a few weeks before we left! Anyone have experience with this? Comments?

That seems about right . They charge around $650 from Dallas and about $400 from LAX . Sometimes the prices drop a bit a couple weeks before the flight , but sometimes they just sell out or get more expensive . The airlines are going broke from the high cost of fuel and artificially low price tickets .

They make money on business travel and sell the excess at discount to fill seats .

Agree. $450 is usually a good price and what we end up paying. Like previously mentioned, waiting sometimes will result in a price decrease, but, more often (in my experience) a price increase.
