Airborne lost a class action suit--something about their product does NOT prevent colds or something to that effect. You can apply online for the refund. You do not need proof of purchase for up to 6 bottles. Just Google "Airborne refund" and you'll find the claim form. I only submitted a claim for one bottle because that's all I have left in the house. I don't remember how many I bought beyond that.

If you've bought a bunch, did it prevent colds for you?

I didn't say I bought a bunch. I just know I bought more than one bottle. I also bought Walgreen's version of the product. I probably took the product before two or three winter flights. I didn't catch a cold on those flights, but that doesn't mean I would have caught a cold had I not taken the product.

I have used this product and have found at times it works quite well. The problem is that any natural or herbal remedy cannot make a claim to cure any medical ailment. This is why a lot of people think the Food and Drug Administration is in the back pocket of the pharmaceutical companies.

I won't be bothering to claim a refund. I just hope they will continue to sell the product in the stores.

I thought that Airborne works pretty well. Boosts my immunities if taken before I get sick, and has warded off some colds or flus on that basis. But I still applied for the refund, and nevertheless have continued to buy the product after that. I figure that the refund I get will go toward buying more Airborne.

How does Airborns boost ones immune system? Does it contain millions of tiny little cold viruses?

It contains zinc, vitamin c, echinacea and a lot of other herbs that have been shown to do so. I found that, when I took it before a plane trip, or just when I first felt a cold or flu coming on, I did not get sick. If I missed that window of opportunity, I usually wound up getting sick.

I got a check today for $31.00 , no receipcts sent in.

I asked dh, who is the one who really swears by Airborne, if he wanted in on this. He declined as he feels the product really does work.
