For my 1 bedroom premium (Platinum) ownership at Atlantis, I want to reserve Dec 26, 09 to Jan 2, 2010 week. SVN is closed on Dec 25th. I do not have any type of elite status either. Questions:
(1) Will I be able to call on Dec 24th of this year and make this reservation starting on Dec 26 or Dec 27th of 2009?
(2) Since I will be out of town (in Mexico) on Dec 24th, my cousin is going to make the call and I have given him all details. What type of hold time can be expected to connect with SVN reservation agent in the morning.

Thanks

Starwood will not accept a reservation before 12 mos. out at 9:00 a.m. ET. I start calling at 8:58 and keep hitting redial until I get through. Make your reservation quickly and get off the phone, to get it in the system ASAP. If you have questions or special requests, call later or use mystarcentral.com. If you spend a lot of time on the phone, other people may get their reservation in while you are asking questions. Good luck!

And use mutliple phones. In the past, we have litterally sat there with two cell phones and the house phone trying to make a reservation.

Good Luck!!!!

Do you own that week? If not those are premium weeks at Atlantis--I own week 52 and the likelihood of someone not using that week who owns it is slim to none--I rented my one bedroom through atlantisfamilyfun and got $4495 for the deluxe unit--at that price anyone who owns who isn't using it will rent it.

I would make sure that whoever is calling Starwood has the 6-digit account number to give to the agent.

This will save time in getting the account pulled up. They will also have to verify all of the account information.

As a precautionary measure, I would also add their name to the account to authorize them to make reservations for 2009. This can be placed in the notes on the account.....so when I say add, this is not a permanent thing.

Good luck!
