I will be at Timber Lodge in February and have never been there before. Any advice on where to make request for room locate?. Will be in a 2 bedroom with kids in 9-11 year old range. Will be skiing most days and swimming at night.

Looks like there are 2 sections - Sierra and Alpine.

My preference is a pool view that is not on the bottom or top floor. The top floor rooms have the roof line deminishing the height of the room, which feels claustrophobic, and the bottom floor can be under grade. Most other views are fine except the one of the parking turnaround.

Thanks GD

Any difference in villas (or other differences) between Sierra and Alpine buildings?

We spend four weeks at Timber Lodge each summer and always request a room overlooking the pool in the newest section with a balcony. Balcony rooms with pool views are hard to come by if you're not an owner but you might request one. The newest section has flat screen HD TV's and I think they just upgraded the TV's in the oldest section to flat screens (and refurbished them) but the section that was done right before the final section still has the old type TV's. I'd definately request a pool view.

Thanks for the help, everyone. I live in the northeast, so I go out west to get away from machine-made snow. I keep hoping for some big snow storms in Tahoe before end of February!
