Hello Tuggers: I am a new timer to TUG and hope this message goes out properly and to the right folks.
My wife and I purchased a platinum level 40 weeks through the Real Club in Mexico a few years back and have not been active with it. I joined TUG to see of my options (selling or renting) through advise by other Tuggers.
First thing is I'm not very clear, if what we bought, is truly a Time Share as we don't have any annual fees typical of TS (it is just the right to book weeks in the multiple resorts under the Real banner); and I don't see any postings for these resorts for sale or rent on the TUG site.
The resorts under the banner are: The Royal Playa del Carmen, The Royal Cancun, Gran Caribe Cancun Gran Porto Playa del Carmen, Hyatt Zilara Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos and Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta.
Can anyone who are either Real Club members or otherwise provide some clarification on this type of ownership, and on direction and advise on renting and re-sale? From what I've picked up on the TUG site, rental is probably the way to go, but it may not be.
