Advice on II trade to Hilton Head in August 2012

I'm trying to plan a 2 week Hilton Head vacation in August using my Platinum Ocean Pointe lockoff (reserved Presidents week 2012 for both units). So far, I have been confirmed for Harbour Town 8/12 -8 /19 using my 1 bdr Ocean Pointe. I Would like a beach week for at least one of the two weeks and I'm wondering if I should decline the Harbour Town unit (within the 24 hr window) and hold out for a beachfront property. I would hate to waste the trading power of the 1Bdr if I could have pulled the Harbour Town unit with my studio or could easily grab it during flexchange.

I guess the real question is, can I pull a Hilton Head beachfront with my 1Bdr Ocean Pointe platinum in August if I am flexible on August dates and can travel as late as an August 25th checkout? I'd appreciate the wisdom of the Hiton Head trading power experts out there.

It is extremely hard to trade into one of the beachfront resorts in HH, you may have a chance with Monarch, but unlikely with the other 3.

I'm definitely going to give it a try. I was successful in trading my 1bdr for Barony this year but it was the last week in August which is later than my current request and after most kids are back in school. I also grabbed aa MGO week for the following week during flexchange with my studio. We had an absolutely wonderful time and am hoping to have similar success next year.
 
Your studio may or may not see harbor town week even if you cancel the match (with 1BR).
Sometimes studio units cannot see far enough to substitute 1BR.

No luck getting II to swap units - they said their system doesn't have a way of doing that. I threw Harbour Town back into inventory and am going to hold out a little longer for the beachfront unit.
