Ski trip at the Sheraton in Steamboat first week of February. Looking for any advice.

Was going to use Uber from the airport.
Also looking for restaurant recommendations.

I assume you are flying into Yampa Valley Regional Airport -- do you realize it is almost 30 miles from there to the Sheraton? That could be a very expensive Uber. My recommendation would be to consider a rental car. The Sheraton is at the base of the ski hill, but most of the restaurants / non-ski activity is downtown, which is 3-4 miles. No grocery stores close either. I've been to Steamboat many times, but I could not imagine having no car, but that is just me.

As for restaurants, Mazzola's downtown is a good Italian restaurant. Lots of good micro-brew houses; Mountain Tap Brewery is one of my favorites. There are two restaurants in the same complex as the movie theater that I like as well: The Rusted Porch and Mc Knights Irish Pub.

Steamboat has reliable free shuttle service. If you are not stranger to public transportation you should be fine.
We never flew to Steamboat, have no opinion on airport to resort transportation. Great skiing there!

I just got back from a ski trip here, and stayed at the Sheraton. For to/from the airport, I recommend the Storm Mountain Express service. 10% discount if you book online. There are very very few Uber's operating. The Sheraton has a free shuttle service to take you around town wherever you need. The only place they won't take you is out to the dispensaries, and the bus out there only runs every two hours, which would be very problematic if you're just going to pop into a shop for 10 minutes and need to get back on a bus into town. You can offer to tip your Storm Mountain Express driver a few extra bucks to make a quick pit stop (it's on the way), just don't dilly dally.

There are UBERs in town, few UBERs applies to the airport run.....

Just saying if you want to head to the edge of town and "dilly dally".

I live in Steamboat in the winter. I do not recommend a rental car unless you are accustomed to driving in something like the 2-3 feet of snow we’re forecast to get the next few days:). You really don’t need a car in town.

If you’re flying into HDN, either Go Alpine or Storm Mountain are my recommendation to get to the Sheraton. If flying into Denver, Go Alpine runs a shuttle service several times a day, around $100 one way. Once there, either The Sheraton Shuttle or the Excellent free bus can get you about anywhere you want. The Free Bus has the major Hub, right next to the Sheraton.

My favorites for Eats
Creekside, The Shack, Freshies for breakfast
Carl’s Tavern, Creekside, Back Door, Dude and Dan’s for Lunch (Hazies or Ragnar’s on the mountain)
E3 Steakhouse, Mambo Italiano, Fiesta Jalisco, Big House Burgers, Cafe Diva, Ore House for Dinner (Four Points on the mountain for a Special night)

EDIT.
Sorry I didn’t see you’re probably here already. Maybe I saw you at the Ticket Office where I work part time;)
Restaurant recommendations still might be useful.

Cheers
