When paying this years maintenance fee online I noticed an option for additional payment.

could i make payments via this option to be credited towards next years maintenance fee ?
( I do monthly payments for my dvc contract)
Thanks

Yes, I do that every year. However, I've already paid off this year's MF last summer, so any payments that I make this year will be credited towards next year's M.F. I pay less than the expected MF, so the "voluntary contribution" is not included in the pre-payments. CJ

Yes, I do that all the time when I need more Bonvoy points. In fact I like to re-pay the full amount based on previous year's MF and only need to pay the difference in December when I get my MF bill for the following year.

Yes you can but remember for DVC you pay in arrears so it's an interest free loan. For Marriott you're be paying up front giving them an interest free loan. Better to put it in a savings account monthly then pay when it's due if simply budgeting monthly is the concern.

This is exactly what I do. I hate the sound of "interest free loan" to a corporation
