We are current biannual point owners considering purchasing annual points on the resale market. What does this look like with Wyndham? Will we have two accounts with them or will they combine our points together?

You would have 2 separate contracts, but you can ask Wyndham to put them into one account (they will do this automatically if the existing account number is given to them for the transfer).

If the two contracts are at same home resort, you can combine the points for ARP. If they are at different resorts, they won't combine for ARP, but the points can be used together at the 10 month mark.

Have you considered finding a resale contract for opposing biennial?

They will definitely combine your accounts.

Thank you. Exactly what I wanted to hear. Wish we would have thought about the resale option on our initial purchase.

U better call Wyndham first they will give u an honest answer I think, and could be wrong but u can use them together, yes. Idont think you wil have them merged as one contract. Check with Wyndham first they will tell you the truth.

And if you hadn't brought from Wyndham .. you most likely would never have found TUG and your future new BFFs.

Your member number holds your all your contracts (which are the points by deed)... and the Wyndham computer USES the NEW/UNUSED points first, over the cancellation points or from a particular contract. I regular have to call a VC to use the "cancelled" points as I am "Saving" my unused Regular points for ARP later in my USE YEAR.

Cancellation points? Are those points for booked time that you have cancelled. Thanks for the insight on how the computer uses the points.

Yes you will have separate contracts on the original account with wyndham. We have 2 biannual and 1 annual.
