Adding on to a Home Week

Hello all, what is the best method to add days (or even another week) before or after to a reserved Home week? At 8 months out, I never seem to be able to get what I need. We are retiring soon and I need new skills

You can't add nights to a home week reservation - home week reservations can only be 7 nights long. (Except for a few resorts in the Florida group, and Home Option reservations - like Nanea.) You would have to book a Staroption reservation for the dates you want, and then in the special request box, ask them to link it to your home resort reservation, and enter the confirmation number and dates.

If you have a Flex package you can book a few extra nights and then ask them to link the two reservations. They can’t guarantee you won’t move, but this is what we do with our Maui week - we use our small 67,100 Westin Flex package to add an extra 3-4 day.

Otherwise you can play the StarOptions lotto by being on at midnight 8 months out.
