There is an exchange I want in II and to get it I need to book a reservation with my week. The website is closed for maintenance and the phone service closed due to shortened hours!!! Ideas! I don’t want to use another of my weeks!

Which website is closed? I just logged on to II but if it is MVC and you need a reservation with a number, I have two suggestions. One works for sure but is probably risky, and I don't know if the other will work.

I once accidentally booked a week using a "dummy" Marriott reservation number. It didn't occur to me until after I had booked the exchange on II. I was able to call II and get it fixed using an actual reservation from Marriott before they verified the week. I believe that II called Marriott for me but it was back in 2012 so the details are fuzzy.

Also, you could use a different week to book it so that it is out of II inventory and cancel it tomorrow and try to rebook using the week you want. I haven't done this but at least it gives you an extra day to work with.

Good ideas! MVC closed! Going to book with the dummy week that I actually want to use and see if I cN call MVC first thing and book that actual week.

For now I got it! I’ll have to sort it out tomorrow. Let’s hope I can travel to Hawaii in February!

Better check again..have been using II all morning....exchanges and website working great

II not the problem. MVC is the problem. I was trying to book a week to grab an exchange with. MVC owners site down for maintenance and phones closed today.

Hi Pedro- I got it! It is Ko Olina MKO on Feb break (I’m a teacher and kids still in school). I have a studio already and I wanted a 1 bedroom that was there today. I got it secured! Looks like it’s ocean view too!

Now COVID go away!!!!
