A plan he hadn't obviously thought all the way through. So, let's say he somehow made it through security and got to meet her. Then what? He does an Anne Frank and lives in her attic? Hard to explain to the neighbors who the new janitor is - you know, the one who won't leave? And now that he's in the country illegally, i.e. passport and/or visa not, how does he get out? An empty airport will only have so much trash to be emptied...
