I have been watching fares on AA going from MIA to Aruba in Sept on direct flight for past two months. The price has not changed. I have tried the control shift refresh thing but price is still exactly the same. $489 plus tax per person. In watching for flights on AA in the past they go up & down on a daily (hourly sometimes) basis. Anyone else watching flights seeing this same thing or has my computer developed some type of glich?

Cannot answer you question about Aruba tickets - but have been searching from Wash DC to Milwaukee to the past week and they just went up $30.

What is the control shift refresh? What does that do?

Anyone have any AA discount codes???????

The trend is definitely on the upswing at American as they have reduced the number of flights in some markets thus having fewer empty seats to sell.

departure tax

Keep in mind that all AA fares from Aruba include the departure tax (25-30$?) where on most other islands and on some other airlines it's paid separately so include that in your calculation.I'm leaving thursday and paid $373 from new york, with all taxes, which were $80

Thanks all for your help.

Pat we leave on Sunday, Sept. 3rd and return on Sunday, Sept. 17th. We have friends traveling with us arriving from Oregon. So we can't leave or return early or later due to their flights to and from Oregon and their work schedules.

I know that fares drop some for Fall so I will keep watching and keep tabs on the seats so we get them before flite fills up. Right now both outbound and return flites are virtually empty.

Pat: What is this list of airfares site you posted? Can you do the same for our flight: 11/11/06 sna to sgf
11/18/06 sgf to rsw
11/25/06 rsw to sna

The lowest I am finding on Delta is $736.80 -- went up $150 from 2/25 :( Can also leave out of lax or san. Thank you for any insight!
