Earlier this week, I received a call from a number Verizon indicated was in Indianapolis and the caller said they were from RCI and requesting that I deposit my 2020 week. We have owned that week for nearly 25 years and I do NOT recall receiving a call like this in the past. Can any other RCI Weeks owners confirm they have received calls like this?

I suppose RCI is looking to get more inventory AND collect the deposit fee but this is something we have done every year since we owned the week in question.

BUT

If I were RCI and looked at my history with this week, it would become pretty obvious this week would eventually be deposited (and RCI get their deposit fee) so I am not sure why they would bother calling me. The next thought that occurred to me was someone (some nefarious company or individual) had access to RCI data. The call did not get very far along as I was in the middle of something else and told the caller I wold take care of this online at the appropriate time.

This is maybe nothing but the more I think about it, it continues to set off alarms in my head......
