We went into Kaunakakai town today for some grocery shopping. We have had so much rain on the East side that the runoff has put a lot of dirt on the Kamehameha V Hwy. So much so, that the road looks like a dirt road. They had some equipment out pushing the dirt off the road.

The dip in the Highway had some water in it today. The dip allows over flow water to cross the highway. Kim said the water was twice as high in the dip yesterday when she went into town for her Ukulele lesson.

That should green the place up a bit. Do you have a wet/dry season?

Yes, we are in our wet season. The east side always gets more rain and is much greener than the west side. shaka
