A resale at Ft Lauderdale BeachPlace Towers out of the blue

Got a call from a broker (a reputable one, recommended on TUG often) saying he had gotten ROFR through on a BeachPlace Towers offer I made four months ago - EY Gold for $6,500. I thought it was long forgotten.

Have been ROFR'd twice on this one (one at 6,500 EYE and one at 4,050 EOY).

We have been to MPB twice and like it, despite the few quirks.

My ?? - there is not much history on pricing on ebay or dioxide for MPB Towers. Any owners out there or folks who follow resale who can tell me about pricing now?? I'm inclined to turn it down with the economy tanking, but thought I'd put it out there

I don't think it's low enough. Platinum used to sell around $12,000 but did seem to go up some over the last year. Haven't seen many on Ebay these days so can't judge how the current economy is affecting resale prices at MBP. I'd wait it out ... there could be big deals coming for any TS that has annual MF of $1000 or more a week.

There is a week on EBay right now (EY plat). Though I think it is going high with a couple of bids.
