A question specific to using Facebook for audio /video call

My dear friend moved to Korea to be near her family.
We have stayed in touch using Facebook audio calls.
Tonight, we were trying to place a call, but I kept getting the following message:

Sorry, this content isn't available right now​

I visited FB help and left a message, but don't have confidence they will reply.

Our family uses FB audio & video calls all the time to other countries, but none in Asia or anywhere in that part of the world and I have never seen or heard of anybody getting that notice. I wonder if some regulation in Korea isnt allowing it to go through. Have you tried logging out of FB then back in, then make the call again? I have had a reconnect fail when we were cut off and I hit reconnect (or was it redial?). I had to close the conversation box, open it again and hit the call icon again.

As mentioned WhatsApp has a similar thing -as long as both parties have it installed. Be sure to check off that only people/numbers on your contact list call call you or you may get strangers calling/video calling you. We have some family members who refuse to use FB but they have WhatsApp so we can still call or video chat for free with them.

If it worked already it should work again so try it later. We use what'sapp on our phones for video calls. We use Facebook messenger for video calls too.
