I've never received such a restricted Accommodations Certificate from II before. I just got an email saying I was selected to get a free AC, and to check the grid for exciting possibilities! I was running out of AC's so I thought this was great, but it's only good until Nov 8th for Orlando, with a $259 exchange fee. Why not call it a sale on October Getaways in Orlando?

The current 50% off sale on RCI Extra Vacations has some nice deals!

Newest AC

Today I got notified by II that I received yet another AC. It must be redeemed (at $259) by November 8, 2015 so there isn't much time. I checked to see what destinations were available and ONLY Orlando, Florida was. Yet another AC that I have no use for.

HAHAHA I thought the one WE just got today was the worst ever.

Orlando only too BUT we have until December 20 to use it.

I got a similar one too, though mine is good through December 20th, only in Orlando but not over Thanksgiving or Christmas weeks.

I have another AC good through April that has Orlando on the grid, and does include those holiday weeks, so this one seems silly to me! I will definitely not use it.

I got an AC for the Orlando area as well good until 11/8/15 only. One month to use and one area offered.

I don't think I'll be able to use it...but can these be used for others, i.e., a guest certificate?

You can make a reservation and "gift" it to someone with a guest certificate, but II rules prohibit renting them.

I also received one - good until 12/20. No allowance for an ongoing search.

Thanks for the fast reply. I may reserve this and tell my parents to go on a vacation!

Clarification: You have to pay the exchange fee AND also pay for a Guest Certificate. Before you do, look at the rentals on II - they may be cheaper.

I haven't gotten one yet, but I don't think I could even use it and I live like an hour from Orlando:rolleyes: Even if I could use it for only a weekend and check out early $259 still seems steep.

The AC I got in August is $199 and is limited to reservations within 59 days of check-in. The locations are off season only and good for a reasonable variety of destinations, both of which are fine, but apparently can pull only for second class and lower resorts. Although not excluded by the terms of the AC, I have yet to be able to see a single Marriott anywhere, even a studio, and it is a 2BR Flexchange AC. This was my promotional bonus for booking a Getaway during their summer promotion.

I received a Dec 20 Orlando AC today and there are several Marriotts in there, all are studios though. I can see some 2br at SVR.

I usually give as gifts to employees.
They usually would not stay in such nice places.
A lot of bang for your employer buck.

Yikes, I have one of those too and I was hoping to use it on an Orlando Marriott sometime in 2016.

AC for Orlando offered

I saw this week a second AC had been deposited into MY II account. It is just for Orlando, now through 12/20. I think Grande Vista had virtually every week available. Of course Thanksgiving is blocked everywhere.

I only noticed it because I finally found something that seemed to work on the one that has been there since the summer, for travel into early February.

I'll jump on this. Orlando AC good now until 12/20/15

I too have an Orlando Accomodation Certificate to give away.

Let me know if you want it.
